Dr. Jennifer Munkert
Jennifer Munkert is currently an academic researcher at the Division of Pharmaceutical Biology, at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Jennifer studied Biology (Diploma) at FAU and finished her PhD at the Division of Pharmaceutical Biology in 2014. During her PhD and postdoctoral studies, she spent time in different laboratories in Belgium, the Netherlands and Brazil. Her research focuses on biosynthesis of plant secondary metabolites with interests in natural product chemistry, bioactivity of small natural products and enzymes of natural product biosynthesis.
